Splendoure Safety Center
Your safety is our priority
Splendoure is built from the ground up with member safety in mind. Every feature, from verified profiles to trusted contacts, exists to help you connect with confidence. This page explains how Splendoure keeps you safe and what you can do to protect yourself when meeting new people.
Safety features built into Splendoure
Splendoure includes a comprehensive set of safety tools available to every member.
Photo & ID verification
Every Splendoure member is encouraged to complete photo verification. ID verification adds an extra layer of trust, confirming that members are real, adult individuals.
Profile visibility controls
You decide who can see your Splendoure profile. Use incognito mode to browse privately, or limit your visibility to people who match your preferences.
Trusted contacts
Add trusted contacts — friends or family — who you want to keep informed when you meet someone from Splendoure. Your safety network travels with you.
Content moderation
Splendoure moderates content to protect members from harassment, explicit material, and fake profiles. You can block nudity in chat and report any content that concerns you.
In-app messaging
Keep all communication within Splendoure until you feel comfortable. Our in-app chat means you never need to share your personal number or social media with someone you have just met.
Block and report
If someone makes you uncomfortable, block and report them instantly. Our safety team reviews reports and takes swift action to protect the Splendoure community.

Splendoure safety — frequently asked questions
How does Splendoure verify members?
Splendoure uses photo verification to confirm that members are real and that their profile photos are genuine. Members can also complete optional ID verification for an additional trust badge on their profile. Verified members are more visible in discovery and tend to get more connections.
What should I do if I feel unsafe on a Splendoure date?
Your safety always comes first. If you feel uncomfortable or unsafe at any point, leave the situation immediately. Once you are safe, report the member through the Splendoure app and contact our safety team at support@splendoure.com. In an emergency, always call your local emergency services first.
Can I use Splendoure without sharing my location?
Yes. Location access on Splendoure is optional. If you prefer not to share your precise location, you can disable location access in your device settings and still use the platform. Some discovery features work better with location enabled, but it is never required.
How do I block someone on Splendoure?
To block a member, go to their profile, tap the menu icon, and select Block. Blocking prevents them from seeing your profile or contacting you. You can also report the member at the same time if their behaviour violated Splendoure's community guidelines.
Does Splendoure share my personal information with other members?
Splendoure only shows other members what you choose to include in your profile. Your email address, phone number, and exact location are never visible to other members. Read our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
What is the trusted contacts feature on Splendoure?
Trusted contacts is a Splendoure safety feature that lets you add the name and contact details of someone you trust — a friend, family member, or colleague. You can share your meeting plans with them so someone always knows where you are when you meet a new connection.
