This page explains how to permanently delete your Splendoure account, what data is removed, what may be retained, and answers to the most common questions about account deletion. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to delete your Splendoure account

Follow these steps to permanently delete your account from within the Splendoure app or website.

Sign in to your Splendoure account

Open the Splendoure app or visit splendoure.com and sign in with your registered email address and password.

Open Settings

Tap your profile icon and navigate to Settings. You can access Settings from the profile page or the navigation menu.

Scroll to the Danger Zone section

In Settings, scroll down to find the Danger Zone section. This is where account deletion and other irreversible actions are located.

Select Delete Account

Tap Delete Account. Splendoure will ask you to confirm your decision. This is your last chance to change your mind before deletion begins.

Confirm deletion

Confirm that you want to permanently delete your Splendoure account. Once confirmed, the deletion process begins immediately and cannot be undone.

Cannot access your account?

If you cannot sign in to Splendoure, email support@splendoure.com from your registered email address and request account deletion. Our team will verify your identity and process the request within 5 business days.

What data is deleted when you leave Splendoure

When you delete your Splendoure account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems.

  • Your full profile — name, username, bio, photos, and all profile details.
  • Your uploaded photos and media, including profile photos and group content.
  • Your discovery preferences, matching settings, and visibility options.
  • Your group memberships and participation history.
  • Your chat messages and conversation history.
  • Your verification submissions (photo and ID verification files).
  • Your trusted contacts list and safety settings.
  • All preferences, interests, and personal attributes you added to your profile.

What data may be retained after deletion

In limited circumstances, Splendoure may retain minimal data after account deletion. This is only done where legally required or necessary for safety purposes.

Basic audit logs

Retained for safety, fraud prevention, and abuse monitoring. These logs contain minimal identifiable information and are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed.

Records required for legal compliance

In some circumstances, applicable law or regulations may require us to retain certain records for a defined period. We only keep what is legally required.

Dispute resolution records

If there is an unresolved dispute or an open investigation at the time of deletion, related records may be retained until the matter is resolved.

All retained data is kept only for as long as it is required and is never used for marketing, advertising, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Frequently asked questions about deleting your Splendoure account

How long does it take to delete a Splendoure account?

Account deletion on Splendoure begins immediately after you confirm. Your profile and content are removed from the platform right away. Some data may take up to 30 days to be fully purged from backups and logs.

Can I recover my Splendoure account after deleting it?

No. Account deletion on Splendoure is permanent and irreversible. Once you confirm deletion, your profile, photos, messages, and all associated data are permanently removed and cannot be restored. If you think you might want to return to Splendoure in the future, consider deactivating your account or adjusting your visibility settings instead.

What happens to my messages when I delete my Splendoure account?

Your sent messages and conversation history are deleted as part of the account deletion process. Other members will no longer be able to see messages you sent in shared conversations.

What if I cannot access my Splendoure account to delete it?

If you are unable to sign in to your Splendoure account, email us at support@splendoure.com from the email address registered to your account. Our support team will verify your identity and process the deletion request on your behalf.

Will deleting my account cancel any active subscriptions?

Deleting your Splendoure account does not automatically cancel subscriptions or purchases made through third-party platforms such as the App Store or Google Play. You must cancel those separately through the relevant platform's subscription management.

Can I download my data before deleting my Splendoure account?

You can request a copy of your Splendoure data before deleting your account by emailing support@splendoure.com. Include your registered email address in the request and we will send you a data export.

Does deleting my Splendoure account remove me from active groups?

Yes. Deleting your account removes you from all groups you were a member of on Splendoure. If you are the creator of a group, that group will also be removed.
