Splendoure collects information to provide and improve the Services. Some information is required to use Splendoure; other information is optional and helps personalise your experience.

• Account details: name, username, email address, and encrypted password.
• Profile data you choose to provide: bio, photos, videos, age, gender, interests, preferences, and discovery settings.
• Verification data: profile verification photos and optional ID verification images, stored privately.
• Messages and content: chats, voice notes, and media you send, including message metadata.
• Location data: precise location when you enable it, or approximate location based on your IP address.
• Usage and device data: log files, IP address, device identifiers, app version, and crash reports.
• Cookies and session technologies used on the Splendoure web platform.

How Splendoure uses your information

We process data based on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests, and legal obligations.

• Provide and continuously improve the Splendoure platform and all its features.
• Enable profile creation, discovery, group participation, and messaging.
• Verify member identities and maintain a safe, trusted community on Splendoure.
• Moderate content and operate safety features, including sensitive-image detection.
• Communicate with you about account updates, security alerts, and support requests.
• Analyse usage patterns to understand how Splendoure is used and how it can be improved.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce Splendoure's terms and community guidelines.

How we share your information

Splendoure does not sell your personal information. We only share data where necessary to operate the Services.

• With other Splendoure members: your profile and content is visible based on your privacy settings.
• With service providers: trusted partners who help operate Splendoure (hosting, storage, analytics, communications). All providers are bound by data processing agreements.
• With payment processors if you purchase a service through Splendoure. We do not store full payment card numbers.
• With law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by law or to protect the safety of members.
• In connection with a business merger or acquisition, with advance notice to members.

Data retention on Splendoure

Splendoure retains your personal information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Services. You can request deletion at any time. We may keep limited data for safety, legal compliance, or dispute resolution purposes only. See our Delete Account page for full details.

Your privacy rights on Splendoure

Splendoure gives you meaningful control over your personal data.

• Access and update your profile information at any time within the Splendoure app.
• Control your visibility and discovery settings, including incognito mode.
• Opt out of marketing communications from Splendoure.
• Request a copy of your personal data by emailing support@splendoure.com.
• Delete your Splendoure account and all associated data at any time.
• If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to object to processing.

Security on Splendoure

Splendoure uses HTTPS and TLS to encrypt all data in transit. Data is stored with encryption at rest by our cloud hosting providers. Verification images are stored privately and only accessible via signed, time-limited URLs. We take security seriously, but no system is completely infallible. Use a strong, unique password for your Splendoure account.

International data transfers

Splendoure operates globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. We apply appropriate safeguards to protect your data wherever it is processed, in line with this Privacy Notice.

Children's privacy

Splendoure is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has an account on Splendoure, contact us at support@splendoure.com and we will remove their data promptly.

Changes to this notice

Splendoure may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top of the full Privacy Policy reflects when it was last updated.
