Child Safety Standards

Splendoure standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation

Effective date: May 25, 2026

Splendoure has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to the Splendoure website, mobile application, and related services. They explain how Splendoure prevents, identifies, reports, and acts against child safety violations.

Adult-only service

Splendoure is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. Minors are not permitted to create accounts, use Splendoure, appear in user-generated content, or participate in profiles, chats, groups, meetings, or other services. If we identify an underage account, we remove or restrict the account and take any additional action needed to protect users and comply with applicable law.

Strictly prohibited conduct

Splendoure prohibits all child sexual abuse and exploitation. This includes, without limitation:

  • Child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, solicitation, or attempts to sexualize, exploit, abuse, or endanger a minor.
  • Any attempt to contact, pressure, manipulate, threaten, blackmail, or coerce a minor for sexual, romantic, exploitative, or abusive purposes.
  • Content that depicts, promotes, requests, shares, links to, or attempts to obtain child sexual abuse material or sexualized content involving minors.
  • Accounts that misrepresent age, attempt to bypass age restrictions, impersonate minors, or help another person evade Splendoure safety controls.
  • Instructions, coded language, groups, profiles, messages, or external links used to facilitate child exploitation or abuse.

Prevention and moderation standards

  • OKSplendoure is intended only for adults aged 18 and over.
  • OKNew accounts must provide an age of at least 18, and backend validation enforces this minimum age requirement.
  • OKProfiles, groups, chats, uploads, and other user-generated content are subject to moderation and enforcement.
  • OKUsers can report suspected underage accounts, child safety concerns, abusive conduct, illegal content, or policy violations.
  • OKSplendoure may restrict features, remove content, request additional verification, or close accounts when safety risks are identified.

How to report child safety concerns

Users and non-users can report suspected CSAE, underage accounts, grooming, trafficking, exploitation, or other child safety concerns to Splendoure.

  1. 1Use in-app report tools on profiles, chats, groups, or other content where available.
  2. 2Email support@splendoure.com with the subject line "Child Safety Report" if you cannot report in the app or need to provide urgent details.
  3. 3Include the username, profile, group, message context, screenshots, dates, and any other information that helps us locate the concern.
  4. 4If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first, then notify Splendoure.

Review, enforcement, and escalation

Splendoure reviews child safety reports and takes action based on the severity, evidence, account history, and legal requirements. Enforcement may include the following actions:

  • Remove violating profiles, groups, messages, images, videos, links, and other content.
  • Suspend, restrict, or permanently ban accounts involved in child safety violations.
  • Preserve relevant account, report, and content information when needed for safety, legal compliance, or investigation.
  • Report confirmed child sexual abuse material or child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), law enforcement, or the appropriate regional authority where required by applicable law.
  • Cooperate with valid legal requests from law enforcement and child protection authorities.

Splendoure is not an emergency service. If a child or any person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement immediately.

Report handling standards

  • Child safety reports are prioritized for review.
  • Reports are handled by personnel or service providers authorized to review safety matters.
  • We limit access to report details to people who need it for safety review, enforcement, legal compliance, or technical operations.
  • We may notify a reporting user when action has been taken, but we do not disclose private investigation details.

Child safety point of contact
